Our website uses “cookies.” Cookies do not cause any harm or contain any computer viruses. They ensure that our offerings are user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved in your browser. Most cookies are “session cookies,” which are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Other cookies are saved on your computer or device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser during your next visit. You can set your browser to inform you when a cookie is placed and allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, accept cookies for specific cases, or to generally exclude cookies as well as automatically delete them when closing your browser. Deactivating cookies may restrict the functionality of this website.
7. Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, which is a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” text files that are saved on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. All information about the website created by the cookie (incl. your IP address) is generally transmitted to and saved on a server at Google in the United States.
IP anonymization has been activated on this website so that the IP address of the Google user within the European Union or other contracting states in the European Economic Area is shortened. Only in exceptional cases is the IP address transmitted to Google servers in the United States and shortened there. Google uses this information on behalf of the website operator to evaluate website usage, to create reports about the website’s activities, and to provide us with more services regarding the website and internet usability. The IP address that is transmitted to Google Analytics is not combined with any other information from Google. You can prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by adjusting your browser’s software settings. We would like to point out, however, that if you do, you may not be able to use the full functionality of the website. Beyond that, you can prevent the data the cookie generates (including your IP address) from being captured when you use the website, as well as its transmission to and processing by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
You can prevent Google Analytics from capturing your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set that prevents your data from being captured when you visit this website in the future:
You can find more specific information on the conditions of use and data protection at ( ).
We would like to inform you that this web page uses the Google Analytics code extension "anonymizeIp" to guarantee that IP addresses are captured anonymously (IP masking), and to ensure that they cannot be directly linked to a specific individual.
8. Use of Instagram Social Plug-ins
Instagram plug-ins ("plug-ins") are used on our website that are operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram"). The plug-ins are marked with an Instagram logo, such as in the form of an "Instagram camera," for example. You can find an overview of the Instagram plug-in as well as its appearance here:
If you pull up a page on our website that contains one of these plug-ins, your browser makes a direct connection with the Instagram servers. The contents of the plug-in are transmitted from Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser calls up on the respective page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not logged into Instagram in that moment. This information (including your IP address) is then conveyed by your browser directly to an Instagram server in the United States and stored there.
If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly assign the visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plug-in, press the "Instagram" button, for example, and this information will also be conveyed directly to an Instagram server and stored there. In addition, the information will be made public on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there.
For the purpose and scope of the data capture and for Instagram's further processing and use, as well as your rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy, please go to
https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388 for more information about Instagram's data protection policies.
If you do not want Instagram to assign the data captured from your website visit directly to your Instagram account, you need to log out of your Instagram account before you visit our website. That way, you can prevent the Instagram plug-in from being loaded, which also applies to add-ons, e. g. the script blocker "NoScript" ( http://noscript.net/ )

Google Analytics is used exclusively with the extension “_anonymizeIp ()” on this website. This extension guarantees the anonymization of the IP address by shortening it, and precludes the possibility of directly linking it to a specific individual. Through the extension, the IP address was previously shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the agreement over the European Economic Area. The IP address conveyed to Google Analytics by the respective browser is not merged with other data from Google.
On behalf of Jimdo and the website operator, Google will use the resulting information in order to evaluate the use of the website so that it can put together reports about website activities, and to provide other related services that Jimdo and the site operator offer (article 6, section 1 lit. f GDPR). The legitimate interest in processing data is in the optimization of this website, the analysis of its use and the adjustment of the content that is made possible by making available the statistics functions of Jimdo. User interests are adequately protected by the pseudonymization.
Google is certified by what is called the “Privacy Shield” (list entry here ), which ensures an appropriate level of data protection. The data sent that is linked with cookies, user identifications (e.g. user IDs) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 50 months. Data that has been stored longer than that is automatically deleted once per month.
